How does
this Mental Band Program Work?

Edwards Mental Lap Band
Program utilizes your sub-conscious mind to help you reach
your weight wellness goals through a series of hypnosis and guided imagery sessions, including installation of a
"mental gastric band."
The MENTAL BAND SYSTEM comprises of a series of five 11/2 hour sessions
plus a series of audio recordings which are necessary for reinforcement. You will be given everything you need
to get the results you want.
First
session This hypnosis session is used to
ease you into the hypnotic experience, allowing your subconscious mind to begin to accept powerful hypnotic
suggestions to help you change the way you think, feel and behave towards food and exercise and yourself. This is
when you will experience your first hypnotic relaxation session. You will be expected to listen to an audio at
least 4 times before your next session.
Second
session
After an informative discussion, all the positive changes will be reinforced and this is also
the "pre-op" session where the process of the mental band procedure will be explained in further detail and you
will be helped to experience a deeper level of relaxation. In this session you will be ‘virtually’ introduced to
your surgeon and your anesthesiologist, so that you will feel comfortable and know what is expected. You will be
told that your stomach will be reduced to the size of a golf ball and that this process will result in you eating
less and feeling full more quickly.
Third session
This is it! This is the day for your Mental Band to be
fitted.
This session will blow your mind as you will literally feel as if
you are in the hospital undergoing a Gastric Band Procedure. Since your subconscious mind does not know the
difference between reality and imagination, you will believe that your stomach is shrinking down to a much smaller
size. This will help you eat less and eat smaller, but more frequent meals, which is the key to long-term weight
loss success. Watch the weight literally fall off after this incredible session as you begin to look and feel
happier and healthier.
Fourth
session
After an informative discussion, this session involves mind-altering processes
that are designed to really get through to your sub-conscious mind. It has a very unique beginning. It
involves a specialized process that creates a belief that healthy changes are getting easier and easier, without
any effort or struggle at all. This session is also used for any adjustment to your virtual gastric band that might
be needed. All positive suggestions for eating less, exercising more, choosing only healthy food and drinking more
water are re-inforced.
Fifth
session We will assess the results and the winner will be announced.
Following all sessions a different CD will be
given to you and MUST be used
to back-up and reinforce the work you have done.

Weekly Hypnosis for Weight
Loss
This program consists of 5 sessions and in
these weekly sessions your mind accepts new attitudes toward food that make it so easy for you to select only the healthiest foods. The
sessions help you improve your choices when you seek comfort and pleasure or when you are
stressed.
Walk, walk, walk!
A daily journal, reminder cards,
reinforcement hypnosis audio program for daily listening and other supportive tools will be given to help you stay
on track.
Hypnosis raises your metabolism to burn stored energy. You thrive on healthy foods,
whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat meats and dairy. You will reject all foods that are not healthy for
you. Your weight steadily comes into alignment with your goals!
Adjusting Your Mental
Band
You will be taught to adjust your own Mental Band with your mind!
You learn to make adjustments to balance your food intake with your energy needs. You will have mastered
doing this yourself after the initial program.
Celebrations of successes are a natural part
of the program. There are many ways to celebrate that are not food-based yet thoroughly enjoyable to those
celebrating.
